Palm Sunday

Tomorrow is Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week.

Jesus enters Jerusalem and is treated like a King.

Yet, everything is about to change.

 Jesus, however, remains the same.

He also remains silent.

Today I needed this Best Lent Ever Reflection.

"Sometimes silence is the best response to a situation and sometimes by being silent we are able to send a powerful message."  Matthew Kelly

I needed this reminder.

Jesus was silent though he wasn't guilty.

Jesus was silent though he is the truth.

His silence would transform the world.

His silence would change our hearts.

My Lord Jesus Christ, you have made this journey to die for me with unspeakable love, and I have many times ungratefully abandoned you. But now I love you with all my heart, and, because I love you, I am sincerely sorry for ever having offended you. Pardon me, my God, and permit me to accompany you on this journey. You go to die for love me. I want, my beloved, Redeemer, to die for love of you. My Jesus, I will live and die always united to you. Amen. St. Alphonsus Liguori
