"Tolerance is not a Christian virtue. Charity, Justice, Mercy, Prudence, Honesty; these are Christian virtues." Archbishop Charles Chaput
Time to start practicing these virtues!
We are called to be like Christ and He obtained all of these virtues.
St. Therese of Liseux would say, "I choose all."
However, there is also beauty in slowly working on these virtues one by one.
I thought I would begin with charity.
There is a lack of charity and the only way to fix that is to be charitable.
The virtue helps us to love God and our neighbor.
It is not always going to be easy to be charitable.
Sometimes it will feel like there is only so much we can tolerate...
Yet, charity means to love even when it's hard.
Who needs charity in your life?
Often it's the people in your own home or the person next to you.
Love them.
Act of Charity
O my God, I love you above all things with my whole heart and soul because You are all good and worthy of all my love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of You. I forgive all who have injured me and ask pardon of all whom I have injured. Amen.
I love this, thank you
