3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. John 3:16 

I could not pass up the opportunity to share John 3:16 on 3/16. 

We hear this scripture verse a lot but do we really listen to what God is saying? 

"Children stop their ears to keep from hearing bad news: an angry parent, an unwelcome order, an unpleasant prohibition. As adults we sometimes stop the ears of our heart to keep from hearing God's voice, lest there too, we hear bad news, only to discover that we have shut out the good news of his incredible love for us."  Magnificat Reflection 

Listen to my voice; then I will be your God and you shall be my people. Jeremiah 7:23 

His incredible love for all of us is revealed each and every day! 

We have only to stop and listen to His voice. 

Open the ears of our hearts, Lord! 

Help us to believe in Your word and to know of Your love.  

"Nails were not enough to hold God-and-man nailed fastened to the Cross, had not love held Him there."
