The High Road

I have this quote as a sticker on my laptop to remind me to be kind.

It's easy to be upset with everything in the world right now and especially in our own country.

We have the right to be upset but it's how we choose to deal with being upset. 

We can allow the frustration to do exactly what frustrated us in the first place or we can acknowledge our emotions and give them to God, who is love and kindness.  

No matter our difference of opinions we should treat each other with respect.  

People need to treat each other as persons. 

I obviously am still working towards this.

           N is it necessary?

  K is it kind? 

If we asked ourselves these questions before speaking, we could all become kinder people. 

My goal this week is to think before speaking and to practice kindness.
