Blood of Jesus

July is the Month of the Most Precious Blood of our Lord. 

Jesus gave us His body and His blood at the Last Supper.

Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. John 6:56

As Catholics we believe that the bread and wine are truly turned into His body and blood. 

When we eat this bread and drink this cup we proclaim your death, O Lord, until you come again.  

 Because of this many of his disciples turned back and no longer went about with him. So Jesus asked the twelve, “Do you also wish to go away?” 

Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life.

John 6:67-68 

We can go to Jesus!

His blood is outpoured. 

Remain in me, Jesus!

ocean of divine mercy:

most pure offering: 

Procure us every grace! 

Precious Blood,

hope and refuge of sinners: 

Atone for us! 

Precious Blood,

delight of holy souls:
