One step toward Jesus... I can do that.
That doesn't sound so overwhelming!
I am trying not to focus on the things I cannot control.
I am trying to focus my eyes and my heart on Jesus by taking one step closer to Him.
The first step I am taking is surrendering what I cannot change or do.
Surrendering what is keeping me from my focus on Jesus!
He knows that I am tired of feeling overwhelmed and because He knows that, He patiently waits for me to take one step at a time, closer to Him.
"Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." Philippians 4:8
