Tomorrow is Pentecost, the birthday of the Church!
We celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles!

The Holy Spirit is sent to help us!
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. we do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Sprit, because the Spirit intercedes for God's people in accordance with the will of God. Romans 8:26-27
We are given the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit to help us.
They are: Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety and Fear of the Lord.
We pray to be strengthened by the Spirit through His gifts.
We are given the Holy Spirit for a reason.
He will intercede for us!
He knows our hearts and is present to us when we call upon His name.
Come, Holy Spirit!
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth! O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Sprit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ our Lord, Amen.
Asking The Holy Spirit to be with a family who really needs our prayers right now! The husband/father to seven kids is still missing after a boating accident. Come, Holy Spirit!
