Hope in You

"Hope is an actual noun, hope is a concrete reality that we hold in hand, a reality that we can put both of our hands around and feel it hold us, steady us." Ann Voskamp

Hope can be difficult to grip at times, but the Holy Spirit is sent to steady us.

We cling to hope through the gifts of the Holy Spirit!

The Holy Spirit will give us knowledge and wisdom to understand.

He will help us understand what we cannot comprehend.

The gift of Counsel will help us when we do not know what to say.

The Holy Spirit will give us the gift of fortitude so that we will be courageous when all hope seems lost.

The gift of Piety grounds us in our faith as we hold on to hope.

And last but not least, Fear of the Lord, the Holy Spirit will bless us with this gift as we surrender our hearts and place our hope in Him!

"From Mary we learn to surrender to God's will in all things. From Mary we learn to trust even when all hope seems gone. From Mary we learn to love Christ her son, the son of God." Pope St. John Paul II

Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we trust in You!

We hope in You!

  1. For me this is a timely reminder of the gifts of the Holy Spirit! Thank you! I like when you say hope can be difficult to hold but the Holy Spirit is sent to steady us. I have a prayer request friend. Please pray for the arthritis in my hands... thank you.
