It is the feast day of St. Augustine of Canterbury today!
"Hope has two beautiful daughters: their names are Anger and Courage. Anger at the way things are, and Courage to see that they do not remain as they are." St. Augustine of Canterbury
This quote really spoke to my heart. Our little community grieves and gathers together with heavy hearts, angry hearts, sorrow filled hearts and broken hearts...But also courageous hearts.
I went to Mass this morning with my mom.
The beautiful homily by Fr. Reuben inspired me.
Jesus changed the blind man's life by healing him.
He wants to change our lives too.
Instead of choosing anger, I want to choose courage.
Jesus is calling us to look at our hearts.
Change our hearts, Lord!
Change my heart TODAY, O God!
"Take Courage; get up, Jesus is calling you." Mark 10:49
