Today is the Feast of St. Pope John Paul II!
He is one of my favorite saints!
I admired his humility and how he directed everything to God.
"Do not be afraid to be holy! Have the courage and the humility to present yourselves to the world determined to be holy, since full, true freedom is born from holiness."
I admired his wisdom and love for all people.
"Where ever people are suffering make it your task to serve them."
I loved his joy and how he shared his happiness with the world.
"People are made for happiness. Rightly, then, you thirst for happiness. Christ has the answer to this desire of yours. But He asks you to trust him."
Jesus, I trust in You!
My favorite thing about Pope John Paul II was his "yes."
"Totus Tuus!" Totally Yours!
May we all desire to give our 'yes' to God and to trust Him with all of our hearts the way PJPII did.
Special birthday shout out to my godson, Daniel, who turned seven today!
