I have discovered that I really enjoy painting!
I have no clue what I am doing but I now know why my sister Nicole loves painting so much!
It's very relaxing!
My friend and co-worker, Brenda, teaches/hosts these paint parties! She provides all of the paint, canvases and supplies.
The first paint party I went to, I tried too hard to be perfect. I was worried I would do something wrong or ugly.
But Brenda walked me through it, step by step.
The lesson I learned was to not try and be perfect.
"Just have fun," Brenda always says.
The second party I went to I allowed myself to be more creative.
I tried new things, new ideas and new colors.
I was way more relaxed!
Not to mention I had wonderful friends encouraging and affirming me.
For the month of October, we painted pick-up trucks and pumpkins!
I am by no means, a professional artist, but I am happy with how my painting turned out!
I am looking forward to doing this again soon!
My talented and artistic friend Tiffany painted a Christmas tree! It's GORGEOUS!
I am so grateful for her friendship and encouragement!
Great turn out of great people!
